County opportunities
For young members
County international trip to Iceland - 3 - 10 April 2027
We are looking for at least 1 additional young member, aged 13+ at the time of travel, to join our trip to Iceland.
This 8-day/7-night trip encompasses the best bits of Iceland, alongside a community project.
If interested, girls should complete an international trip application form and send a short video introducing themselves, talking about their Guiding journey and why being part of the trip would be important to them to [email protected] by Friday 27 March 2026.
Guide and Ranger members aged 14-18 who want to travel the world with Girlguiding should be encouraged to attend the county international opportunities day, held each year in the autumn term. The international leadership team have a day of activities and team challenges to allow them to get to know everyone. After successful completion, the team offer places on county trips for the next year and offer a small number of girls the opportunity to attend Anglia region selection. In recent years county trips have visited Ireland, The Gambia, Mexico, USA, India and the World Scout Jamboree.
