Youth Opportunities

Welcome to the new Youth Opportunities webpage which we hope will support and assist leaders, 13+ Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders.  The newly formed County Youth Opportunities Team are here to support YOU and have created a new newsletter providing information and articles from all the advisers within this team and their plans and current opportunities.

Watch out here, on the County website for further information of events aimed specifically at this age group which we will put out there as soon as we are allowed to meet up safely again.

Young Leaders can also find information on the Girlguiding Anglia’s website about various opportunities available.

Want to do something in the meantime??

Why not consider your favourite activity, challenge or game for our next edition (September 2020) which will have a specific Young Leader focus, send us questions or topics you’d like advice with. Are you artistic or a designer? – could you help us with a Girlguiding Hertfordshire Youth Opportunities badge?

Please send any contributions to youthops@girlguidinghertfordshire.org.uk

Walking 100 Challenge

The Walking Team is very happy to see an enthusiastic response to the Walking 100 Challenge badge. Uptake has been high and people are starting to report having completed their 100km. Some members have reported some amazing wildlife spots along the way including swimming snakes and parakeets. Why not take a look at the challenge and join in the fun?
