The challenge badge is packed with ideas and activities for a range of ages and encourages you to take part in a variety of activities – whether that’s gaining a valuable life skills such as learning CPR, how to make an emergency call, researching helicopters, or visiting an Essex & Herts Air Ambulance base – with the final stage being a fundraiser for the charity.
The challenge is divided into four sections: Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), Helicopters, Air, and Fundraising. You can decide whether your group completes the pack collectively or individually and all they need to do is to complete at least one challenge from each section in order to earn a badge.
Badges cost £1.50 each, purchased in packs.
EHAAT can offer a tour at either of our airbases in North Weald and Earls Colne, where you may get to see the helicopter and meet our crew! Alternatively, one of our charity representatives can come and talk about your local Air Ambulance’s life-saving work.
