This peer education training weekend will be taking place at Hertfordshire Guide Centre in Cottered from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 March 2027.
Open to any member of Girlguiding aged 14 - 25 years of age wanting to become a peer educator for Hertfordshire county.
Being a peer educator is an extremely flexible role, so can be a great way to stay connected to Girlguiding whilst you’re at university or when you can’t commit to more regular volunteering.
Peer educators run fun, safe and challenging sessions for Brownies, Guides and Rangers exploring important topics.
More details about this training weekend will be available soon.
Prior to this training weekend county will be running some virtual drop in sessions where you can find out more about peer education and see if becoming a peer educator is for you. Dates for the drop in sessions will be announced in due course.
You can find out more about peer education on the Girlguiding UK website.
