Bronze and Silver Indoor Duke of Edinburgh expedition training

This weekend, taking place on Saturday 23 to Sunday 24 January, is for everyone intending to undertake practice, or assessed, Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expeditions with Girlguiding in 2027.

All the main areas of Bronze expedition training will be covered, plus Silver DofE participants will learn to use eDofE, OS maps and plan their practice expedition. We will revise higher level navigation skills, first aid, food and expedition aims.

This weekend will also be a great opportunity for participants to meet the other members of their future expedition teams.

Cost: £50 (includes accommodation, food and resources).

For more information, or to book a place, please contact the county DofE Award lead volunteer on [email protected]

More information about DofE within Girlguiding can also be found on our DofE page.
