Adventures with maps

Why not start the new year off by joining the county walking team for a quiz based circular walk to/from Bramfield in the beautiful East Hertfordshire countryside with historical anecdotes and fables along the way.

Taking place 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturday 17 January this mini adventure will wend its way past the haha at Mardley Hill, uphill to Queen Hoo Hall and back past the bewitched Sally Rainbow’s Dell.

Develop your map skills, or just join for a fun social walk, completing map and route quiz questions along the way.

Open to all members aged 16 plus.

Participants will need to wear walking boots (or other sturdy footwear) as it is likely to be muddy this time of year.

Bring waterproofs, warm layers, hats and gloves and a flask of hot drink and a snack as there will be a halfway break.
