Young Creatives Online Course

BEEE Creative, makeAMPLIFY and five Hertfordshire museums (North Herts, Royston, Stevenage, St Albans and Watford) are excited to be delivering a new project in Hertfordshire through 2020/21, thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Exhibit 2020 is a cross-arts project where professional, internationally renowned artists come together to co-produce installation work with young people. We would like to work with you to ensure the project reaches the young people that would benefit the most.  Exhibit 2020 – Young Creatives Online Course Flyer

The framework provides a developmental pathway for young people:

1. Initial outreach workshops with schools and community groups

2. Residencies in museums where young people co-produce AR installations

3. Young Creatives – skills development course and one-off workshops with a variety of artists

4. Creatives Challenge – young people are supported to develop their own work with museums

As we have had to adjust some the delivery due to museum closures during the Covid-19 pandemic the Young Creatives skills development course is now being delivered online.

The course is free to take part in and will be taking place Monday 27 to Friday 31 July. Participants will create their own artwork – this could be a choreographed dance, a piece of music, visual art, photography, film, animation – to present in the brand new BEEE Creative online exhibition space that will be launched as part of this course. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting new phase of our museum project.
