HertsAdventure18 Badge Competition
Thank you to all who entered the HertsAdventure18 design a badge competition. The judges had a tough choice to make and in the end decided to create the camp badge using a combination of entries. The main base for the design came from Mabel (age 8) from 1st Flamstead Brownies, to which some ideas from a few other entries were added to generate the final badge design. Congratulations to Mabel and well done to Niamh (12) from 8th Rickmansworth Guides and Imogen (15), Eleanor (15) and Katie (17) from Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Senior Section whose entries formed part of the final design.
The infrastructure is being organised to host over 700 Adventurers for a packed week of fun at HertsAdventure18.
The puppet shows and bouncy castles are booked for the Rainbow Adventure day, the yurts are booked for the Brownies on the central sub camp and the activities for all the Brownies to enjoy. A fun filled week of activities are planned for the Guides and The Senior Section, from water activities to bushcraft, drumming to a Planetarium. Guides can attend as part of a unit or as an Individual Adventurer, so if you cannot bring your girls along, please do encourage them to attend so they don’t miss out on the Adventure. The Senior Section are also having their own extra special day out adventure to Windsor. We also have confirmed international visitors joining us from Lanzarote, New Jersey, USA and Southern Ireland. What an Adventure the week will be!
So, there is only one final question that remains – have you booked to be part of this Adventure? Bookings close 1 May 2018, so don’t delay and book today!
