Introduction to the Hills is a residential weekend for Hertfordshire Guides and Scouts, aged between 11 and 13, at The Foundry activity centre in the Peak District. Activities include walking, climbing, cycling and caving with cost of £120 including transport. Visit the ITTH blog to see photos from the 2017 event. Guides can attend without their Leaders.
Interested Guides should email Hanna Hayward on email@example.com for further information and an application form. The closing date for Guide applications is Friday 9 February 2018 but please note that applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. All applications will be considered but preference will be given to those who have not attended this event before.
The ITTH organisers are keen to encourage Leaders to join the friendly leadership team on the weekend. The team is always in need of Leaders with walking or climbing qualifications, but those who are working towards or who do not have specific activity qualifications are also welcome.
