County Training Day


Come and join us for a varied opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and an understanding of GirlguidingUK publications, programme ideas and new things to try with your units.

All Leaders, Leaders in Training, Young Leaders, Unit Helpers & Commissioners are welcome.

Training sessions include: The New Programme, A Safe Space, Sharing the load, International unit meeting ideas, Membership systems for unit user group, Moving on up, Girl led guiding – why girl input is important, Science with your girls, Commissioner support and Getting out and about with your unit

9.30am doors open and reception drinks available
10.00am welcome
10.15am morning sessions
12.15pm lunch and marketplace
1.30pm afternoon sessions
3.30-3.45pm depart

Please complete the Application Form and return it to County Office by 22 April 2018

Cost: £12 (includes a ploughman’s lunch) or £6 for morning/afternoon only. This is non-returnable and payable with your application.

Please wear uniform/Guiding wear.

General Information:
• All sessions are aimed at Leaders from any section
• Sessions are allocated by date of application order, so book early to avoid disappointment
• Please send a stamped addressed envelope or email address for us to acknowledge receipt of your application & cheque, and bring this to the training as proof of your place
• We hope to have a Depot stall with books, badges, and all sorts of supplies
• If you find you are unable to attend, please contact County Office so we can reallocate your place to someone on the waiting list.
