Who are Rainbows?
In England, a girl may become a Rainbow any time after her Fifth birthday, and usually moves up to Brownies after her seventh birthday.

What do Rainbows Do?
Joining a local group means that fun is guaranteed!

They take part in indoor and outdoor activities as part of their programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw.

Their meetings are full of games and activities which provide challenging opportunities for Rainbows to think for themselves and take an active part in unit decision-making.

Everything a Rainbow does helps her to develop – it’s an opportunity to look, learn, laugh and love

What do Rainbows Wear?
Rainbows wear specially designed wear such as the new red and blue uniform or a tabard. Click HERE to see examples.

When Do Rainbows meet?
The day and length of meeting varies depending on where you live in Hertfordshire. Contact County Office for details of your nearest meeting.

Rainbows meet together in groups called units. Each unit has between five and eighteen girls and they meet once a week, often in the same place as the local Brownies or Guides. Most of the meetings take place during term time and last about an hour.
