Girlguiding Hertfordshire International Opportunities (Intops) 2017
Intops is a chance to apply for international adventures with Girlguiding Hertfordshire. Previous opportunities have included visiting Jamborees, international camps, World centres and taking part in service projects. Destinations are different every year and in the last 3 years have included: India, Japan, Mexico, Ireland and the USA. Some opportunities involve camping and others staying indoors, and all are a lot of fun!
The event will be held in the Brynbach lodge at Phasels Wood campsite, WD4 9NA, from 10am-4pm on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Applications are open to all Guides and members of The Senior Section (including Young Leaders) who Guide in Hertfordshire and will be aged between 13-18 in July 2017.
In order to apply, members will need to fill out this application form and ask their unit Leader or District Commissioner to complete this reference form. The application form is a google form so will need to be filled out online. Applications will not be complete until the reference has been received. Please can completed reference forms be emailed directly from the referee to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post. If planning to return by post, please drop me an email and I will share address details.
Once we have received the reference for your application, we will send you confirmation of your place at this event.
We have around 30 places available for travel in 2018/19 that we will be matching applicants to at this event. Applications are first come, first served until we are at capacity so we recommend applying early.
The deadline for receipt of applications AND references is Friday 16th September 2017. Any applications/references received after this date will not be accepted.
