Great Patrol Hunt 2017/18 – Round 1

14/10/17

An annual guiding competition held in Hertfordshire to find the ‘Greatest Patrol’.

The competition spans a year and comprises three rounds. Each round has different challenges and activities that encourage patrols to work together as a team. Marks are awarded for teamwork, etiquette, presentation, good deeds and achievement throughout the challenges and the event. Alternatively, come along and have a fun activity day with friends.

Participants must be 10 to 16 years and an active member of a Guide Unit. Teams need not be regular weekly Patrols, but they must choose a unique name for themselves in order to enter. Patrols must consist of 4 – 6 Guides and should not include more than 10 different members throughout the three rounds.

More information will be available later in 2017. Visit www.greatpatrolhunt.org.uk for information on previous competitions.
